Former President Barack Obama’s daughter Sasha Obama was seen dancing and lip-syncing along to Popp Hunna’s song “Adderall (Corvette Corvette)” in a now-deleted TikTok video.
The 19-year-old student at the University of Michigan promptly went viral as the video was shared widely on Twitter.
Numerous celebrities have come to the defense of Sasha Obama after a barrage of criticism was levied at her over the video.
“Oh shut up about Sasha Obama, she’s young, free and harming nobody,” actress Jameela Jamil wrote.
“Stop acting like it’s the President of The United States doing this. Which even if they did would still hurt nobody. She looks happy and she deserves to grow up expressing herself and having fun.”
This isn’t the first time Obama has gone viral on TikTok as a video from October of her and a friend rapping to City Girls quickly garnered attention. The video shows Obama and her friend lip-syncing and dancing to JT's verse from Moneybagg Yo’s "Said Sum" remix.
While Sasha doesn’t have a TikTok account, we are here for the day she decides to create one as she’s already proven to be a star.
