Jordan Poole is staying busy this offseason and working with some of the best shooters in the game.
While he was spotted working out with Kevin Durant a couple weeks ago, Poole joined Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Seth Curry and Scoot Henderson for a workout recently.
Photographer Devin Allen shared pictures from the session, where Poole was tagged but not prominently featured.
So, does Draymond Green have any feelings on Poole rejoining his former Warriors teammates for a workout? It seems the Splash Brothers are still staying tight with Poole, who was punched by Green last October, leading to rocky locker room chemistry all season.
Judging from Draymond’s Twitter spat with Poole’s dad, the two sides haven’t done much reconciling since The Punch. This summer, the Warriors traded Poole to the Washington Wizards in a deal for Chris Paul and inked Green to a four-year, $100 million extension. It’s safe to say Golden State picked Draymond’s short-term future over Poole’s long-term promise.
On Thursday’s edition of 95.7 The Game's “Steiny & Guru”, hosts Matt Steinmetz and Daryle ‘The Guru’ Johnson discussed whether or not Draymond should mind that Poole linked up with Steph and Klay.
GURU: I think there was a message behind – to the internet and all the people – about that workout, Steiny. I could be totally wrong with Jordan Poole and the presidential Splash Brothers, but there was something subliminal, like, ‘Hey. We’re good.’
STEINY: We’re really talking about the wrong thing. We’re really not bringing up what the real issue is or would be. The issue is whether Draymond Green has seen the workout and is thinking WTF.
GURU: My man! Boy, I love you sometimes!
STEINY: The only thing that matters about that video is whether Draymond cares or not.
GURU: He’s so cool with Klay and Steph, that Dray wouldn’t give you that reaction.
STEINY: Not out in the open.
