Tuesday marked cutdown day across the NFL as all 32 clubs has to set their first 53-man roster of the 2023 season.
There are still 12 days before the 49ers open the season at Pittsburgh and there has been a flood of new free agents with all the releases around the league, so don’t be surprised if there are still a few roster moves made.
Perhaps the biggest news is that the 49ers will carry three quarterbacks on their roster, including QB3 Brandon Allen, who will be eligible to suit up on gamedays and enter if Brock Purdy and Sam Darnold get hurt.
