ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Need a nice place to take your special someone this holiday? If you're in St. Louis, you're going to have some of the best options in the country.

St. Louis was just ranked No. 1 by the personal finance site WalletHub for having the most affordable and high-quality restaurants in the entire U.S. The title was given as part of its recent study of the best cities to celebrate Christmas in America.
St. Louis also did well on that overall list, ranking No. 13 – just behind Chicago at No. 12, but ahead of cities like Denver (15), Nashville (21), Philadelphia (29) and Indianapolis (32).
The city is home to the new "best burger in the world," as Mike Johnson of Hi-Pointe Drive In and Sugarfire Smokehouse took home the prize in this year's World Food Championships. There's also Little Fox, located just south of downtown, which was named one of the 50 places that the New York Times is "most excited" about. And Trattoria Marcella in south St. Louis was included on a list of the 100 Best Neighborhood Gems in American.
In WalletHub's study of best Christmas towns, St. Louis also ranked No. 1 for most toy stores and hobby shops per capita. The city was tied with Orlando, Las Vegas and New York for the top spot.
Here's how St. Louis did in a number of other categories:
42nd – Average Beverage Price
18th – Restaurant Meal Costs
12th – Food Banks per Capita
37th – % of Christian Population
40th – Online Giving per Capita
18th – Share of Income Donated to Charity
