As 2020 draws to a near, Natty Light is ready to celebrate those who will be turning 21 in 2021!
The brand announced that it is launching the “Finally ‘21” campaign to help beer-lovers celebrate their milestone birthday with an ice cold Natty Light... on the house!
“The world needs '20 to turn '21. Natural Light beer is all about turning 21! As a matter of fact, we have never wanted to see something turn '21 so badly,” the press release notes.
So, how can you score free beer (if you’re of age, of course)?
When the clock strikes midnight on the first day of 2021, fans can enter to win a case by using the hashtags #FINALLY21 and #Sweepstakes on social media.
Natty will be giving away a total of 2,021 cases of beer to 21+ fans between January 1 through January 7.
“We know there have been some bright spots this year and we’re happy to have been a part of many of them, but the reality is, our fans are ready to move on from 2020,” said Daniel Blake, Vice President of US Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch.
“We’re giving them a small token of our appreciation for toughing out this year with us, and hope they raise an ice cold Natty this New Year’s to getting back to making epic memories,” he added.
The Anheuser-Busch company brought back the birthday promotion for a second year after seeing how successful it was.
After a year that saw a seltzer-boom, the company is also expanding its portfolio by adding a sixth hard seltzer in 2021. The Michelob ULTRA Organic Seltzer hits shelves on January 12, 2021.
Per the press release, it is the "first national USDA-certified organic hard seltzer, and it boasts some superior stats: zero carbs, 80 calories, zero sugar, and six times filtered to remove impurities."

It will come in three initial flavors: spicy pineapple, peach pear, and cucumber lime. Customers will be able to get them in 12-pack 12oz cans, a 25oz can and 24 packs. A second variety pack will arrive later in 2021.
