This is extremely important, stop what you're doing.

Kansas City takes its football food seriously. One of the nation's premier BBQ hubs, KC chicken wings are another Sunday (or Thursday, or Saturday, or Monday) delicacy that carnivorous Chiefs fans don't joke around with. So naturally, when an offensive lineman gets drafted by Kansas City, he's going to get asked about it.

Luckily, new Chiefs center Creed Humphrey came prepared (and patient). Humphrey made an appearance on 610's Fescoe In The Morning, and when asked about his go-to wing choice, the rookie nailed his response.

"Yeah, so you know, I like grilled or smoked wings more than I do fried, to be honest," he said. "Yeah. I like spicy BBQ sauce on there. A cajun BBQ, things like that. Just really crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside ... and I'm a ranch guy, not a blue cheese guy."

Humphrey also mentioned that the addition of carrots and celery depended on "how healthy he wanted to be," which was, to be honest, probably the most relatable moment of the entire interview. He "never counts" how much he eats, instead preferring to "just go."

All of this is fine - the only thing worse than a bad wings opinion is people who get mad about opinions on wings in the first place. And in case you were interested, Humphrey also talked about, you know, football. He chatted about his time spent at Oklahoma with new Chiefs left tackle Orlando Brown, as well as his pedigree of snapping to elite quarterbacks.
