It's surreal to experience going viral. Yet, here I am, glued to my Instagram and TikTok feeds, witnessing the view count skyrocket. All because I posted a short video thanking my dental hygienist, Nicole at Cromwell Dental. She's the one who caught the recurrence of my lymphoma after finding a lump during a routine cleaning. I'm gearing up for another round of chemotherapy starting this week.
@si_que_what The moment I told my dental hygenist, Nicole, she saved my life. I had B-Cell Non Hodgkin Lymohoma in 2020 and it went into remission in 2021. Its back now and I know early because of Nicole. During a routine cleaning she was doing a sweep of my mouth with her finger and found a lump on my lower gum line. She stopped the cleaning and took me over to the pano xray. There was a mass in the imaging. Two biopsies, an MRI and PET scan later, its comnfimed to be lymohoma again. Its in my neck and face and chin like befode but this time there is also a tumor which has lympoma in it too and that tumor is in my gums. The lymphoma has NOT spread to my gums, its a singular 5.6 cm cancerous tumor IN my gums. Starting chemo soon💕 #cancer #lymphoma #gurardianangel #hero #recurrance
When I shared my gratitude in a video on our morning show Instagram, @ChristineandSalt, and later on TikTok (thanks to my 19-year-old son’s suggestion), I wasn’t expecting the overwhelmingly joyous reaction of love and support. It's been amazing. The video went viral with over 1 million views and countless comments asking about my experience.
