My 18-year-old son, Alexander, came home from college over the weekend to get his first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. It was a wonderful visit until he blurted out that he wanted to take his love for Led Zeppelin to another level and get a tattoo of the bands symbols on his calf. He wants it to look something like this tweet below (no, that's not my son's account -- it's a different Alexander).
A little background. I had a tattoo. I got it when I was a freshman in college. It was a rose on my ankle and it was stupid. I paid a lot of money to have it removed. So, I'm just trying to make sure he *really, really* wants this cuz it's expensive to put on, and expensive to take off.
Plus, my husband and I agreed to let him get his ears pierced (we paid for it too) as long as tats weren't on the agenda as well. He *promised* us it was just the ears and nothing else. So when he said he wants a Led Zep tat, we were like, wait a minute...
Of course, he's an adult(ish) and he can do as he pleases. But that didn't stop me from trying to get Salt and our listeners on my side.
The people have spoken. Alexander, are you listening?! pic.twitter.com/cPzLNtKDAs

Take a listen below to how everything played out both at my house with Alexander and on the air with Salt and a listener who has some advice for my son.
