Cancer and lupus have taken a lot from me — health and energy come to mind.

But cancer and lupus have also taken my hair. And I say, "so what!"

I didn’t lose my smile, my sense of humor, my crinkles around my eyes, my hope, my faith, my love, my laughter.

The hair I'm wearing below is custom designed by Nefertiti Wigs owner, Nichole Knight. She took a platinum blonde unit and rooted it just for my coloring, wow!

Wearing a wig can be challenging, especially in the beginning.
