Jaime Solis was already charged with assaulting a victim in the presence of a child.
Now, the 29-year-old is facing multiple counts of assault, threatening, disorderly conduct, and risk of injury.
In a warrant, the alleged victim states she estimates having been assaulted by Solis 40 times over the last several years, including being slapped in the face and beaten with a belt.
Solis had his police powers suspended by state police after his first arrest.
He's free on $50,000 bond following the second arrest on the additional charges.
He's due in court in Rockville on Thursday.
