Hartford, Conn. (WTIC Radio)-First Night activities tonight include traditional fireworks and live performances of music, theater, comedy and dancing and the Peoples' Parade through downtown, officials said.
First Night Creative Producer Taneisha Duggan said the fireworks, accompanied by live music, last fifteen minutes and occur at 6 PM and at midnight.
The main stage is on Trinity Street, beneath the Soldier and Sailors Arch.
It's the venue's inaugural debut and the best vantage point to view the fireworks, Duggan said.
Buttons can be purchased online at the First Night website and masks are required.
According to Duggan, Covid reduced the number of indoor performances from twelve to seven.
