(Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Hartford police have made additional arrests in connection with a stabbing and shooting at a church in May.

Under arrest are Kendra Faucette, 40, and Courtney Hawkins, 44, both of Hartford.

On May 9th, police say shots rang out during a funeral at Gospel Lighthouse Apostolic Church on Main Street.

There were 150 people in attendance and investigators say an altercation and melee between family members preceeded the shooting.

As police were processing the scene, a woman showed up at the hospital with a graze wound and a man with a stab wound, non life-threatening in both cases.

Joshua Smellie, 34, was arrested on assault, firearms and other charges that day.

Police on Monday picked up Faucette and Hawkins.

Both are facing assault and firearms charges, as well.
