Vernon, Conn./WTIC Radio - Vernon police are charging a man in connection with a fatal motorcycle crash from earlier this year.
Under arrest is Jahmarcus McCatty, 20, of Hartford.
It was February 27th that police say McCatty struck the motorcyclist, identifed as James Faulkner, 25, of Vernon as he rode along Prospect Street.
Faulkner was taken to Rockville General Hospital where he later died.
McCatty was picked up Wednesday and faces a slew of charges, inclulding manslaughter, evading, following too closely and possession of stolen plates, among others.
Vernon police were assisted by several divisions of the Hartford Police Department, who are also charging McCatty on a separate warrant.
McCatty is being held on $1 million bond and is due in court Friday.
