New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - New Haven police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting death of a teenager last month on a city street.
Detectives say a 17-year-old is facing charges in the death of Daily Jackson, 17.
Jackson was walking in the area of Shelton Avenue and Huntington Street on December 3rd.
That's when police say the suspect opened fire, killing Jackson.
His death came less than two weeks after a 16-year-old was shot to death on Goffe Street.
Police say the victims in both shootings were friendly with one another.
The suspect in the Jackson case is currently being held at the juvenile lockup in Bridgeport until the case is transferrred to adult court.
Police and Jackson's family are expected to have more to say at a news conference Wednesday at New Haven Police headquarters.
