Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Hartford are investigating a fatal hit and run crash.
Detectives say just after midnight Saturday, they were called to the area of 605 Albany Avenue on a report of a car versus bicycle crash.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the victim, identified as Rosevelt Vann, Jr. of East Hartford in the roadway with severe injuries.
The 27-year-old was transported to St. Francis Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say Vann was struck by a vehicle described as a black Infiniti sedan that fled east on Albany Avenue and south on Garden Street.
Hartford Police Crime Scene Division detectives are leading that investigation.
