An unidentified woman called the main office of the company that administered the tests and threatened to shoot people at the site, Bristol police said.

According to police, the woman was upset about the service and time she was waiting in line.

Bristol officers ensured the area was safe, but police said the company decided to close down the site for the day.

The company coordinated with Bristol police to re-open the testing site Wednesday morning. Two officers remained at the site. Police said no other issues have arisen.

Police are asking people going to testing sites to exercise patience and civility as the high demand for tests continues.

Anyone with information about the threat is asked to contact Bristol police at (860) 584-3011.
