Hartford, Conn (WTIC Radio)-Russian President Vladimir Putin every single day commits evidence of war crimes through his policy of brutalization against Ukraine, Senator Chris Murphy(D-CT), said.

Murphy is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He said from day one Putin knew the invasion went wrong and his army has performed worse, forcing him to change tactics.

Murphy said he'll seek more aid, acknowledging the war is far from over.
He said he also hopes Putin stays out of NATO countries because "we have a sacred obligation to our NATO alliance."

Murphy was joined at a State Capitol press conference by Alexa Kuzma, Executive Director of the Ukranian Catholic Education Foundation. "Perhaps an interim measure might be a humanitarian airlift, similar to the Berlin Airlift by the Kennedy Administration. A peaceful airlift of food and supplies to the major cities suffering devastation."

Just this week the Biden Administration sent one Billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine, including 800 Stinger anti-aircraft systems, 2,000 Javelin, 1,000 light-anti-armor weapons, and 6,000 AT-4 anti-armor systems, 100 Tactical "Switchblade" Unmanned aerial systems, 100 grenade launchers, 5,000 rifles, 1,000 pistols, 400 machine guns and 400 shotguns: over 20 million rounds of small arms ammunition and grenade launcher and mortar rounds; 25,000 sets of body armor and 25,000 helmets.
