Coventry police seek owner of Albino Burmese python found in town

Coventry, Conn./WTIC Radio - In Coventry, police are trying to find the owner of an albino Burmese python found slithering its way through town on Monday.

The reptile, which measures nine feet in length, was found in the area of South River Road and Talcott Hill Road.

It is yellow in color.

The snakes are not native to Connecticut and generally can't survive in the wild here.

Coventry police ask anyone with any information about the snake to call the department's Community Service officer at 860-742-4074.

They can also send anonymous tips to CPD-Tips@coventry-ct.gov.
