South Windsor, Conn./WTIC Radio - An animal shelter in South Windsor is looking for the owner of a dog that was found abandoned on Monday.
Police were called to Frank Niederwerfer Wildlife Sanctuary on a report of a barking dog.
They found the canine attached to a tree by the collar.
Officers investigated but determined that cameras on two nearby homes didn't cover the area where the dog was left.
Shelter officials say the collar had the name "Kobe" written on it.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact South Windsor police.
