Westport, Conn./WTIC Radio - A state police cruiser was struck by the driver of another vehicle early Monday morning on Interstate 95 in Westport.
The incident occurred as a state trooper was investigating a crash on the southbound side of the highway at exit 17 just after 3:00 a.m.
Investigators say the trooper parked the police car in the left lane and activated the emergency lights.
The vehicle was unoccupied when the second vehicle failed to move over and struck the cruiser.
Minor injuries were reported.
State police didn't say what, if any, charges were filed.
They are reminding drivers to slow down and move over if possible, when approaching an emergency vehicle.
