Manchester, Conn./WTIC Radio - There's been yet another fatal wrong way crash in Connecticut.
According to State Police, just before midnight on Sunday, troopers were dispatched to the area of eastbound exit 5 in Manchester.
Samantha Jo Smith, 31, of Windsor Locks, was killed.
State Police say she was driving the wrong way when her vehicle crashed head-on into a tractor trailer.
The driver of the tractor trailer was taken to an area hospital for treatment. There is no word on the extent of those injuries.
That section of the highway had to be closed for a time as police processed the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
