Hartford, Conn/WTIC Radio - The price of gasoline is once again in record territory.

AAA reports nationally, the average for a gallon of regular stands at $4.59.

In Connecticut it's even higher.

Regular is averaging $4.68 a gallon, unchanged from Friday but still nine cents higher than the national average.

And that's with the suspension of the 25-cent a gallon Connecticut gasoline tax.

The auto club says 35-million drivers nationwide are planning a trip for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday.
