
HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A shooting investigation in Hartford became a homicide investigation following the death of the victim Monday.
Last Wednesday afternoon, Hartford police responded to a report of a person shot on Irving Street.

Police located a woman suffering from a gunshot wound upon arrival.
The victim was alert and conscious when she was transported to the hospital for treatment, police said, where she was initially listed in stable condition.
On Monday, the victim, Cynthia Reynolds, 62, of Hartford, died as a result of her injuries, police said.
Though the investigation is ongoing, police said it is not believe the victim was the intended target of the shooting.
