
East Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in East Hartford have made an arrest in a home invasion which also netted officers over 100 pounds of marijuana.
It was Thursday afternoon when they were called to an apartment on Nutmeg Lane to a physical altercation.
Police encountered what they called a "volatile scene", with one suspect found hiding under a bed with a firearm.
That person and another suspect were subdued without injury.
The marijuana was also confiscated.
Due to the ongoing investigation, police didn't release the names of the suspects.
They do say they're being charged with home invasion, robbery, kidnapping and criminal possession of a firearm.
Police say the incident was isolated and that there's no immediate threat to the public.
