Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Waterbury police say they're investigating a shooting in the Brass Mill Center Mall.
Officers say they were dispatched to the mall around 5:00 p.m. Friday on a report of shots fired.
An adult male was found in the food court with a gunshot wound, police said.
That person is being treated at an area hospital.
Waterbury police stress the shooting stemmed from an "altercation between individuals inside the mall" and there is no danger or threat to the public.
The investigation is ongoing.
