Danbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - A well being check in Danbury today turned up two people who had been shot to death, police said.

Officers are called to a home on Clayton Road just after 3:00 p.m.
When they arrived on scene, investigators say they found a man and woman unconscious on the floor of a basement bedroom.
Both had sustained gunshot wounds to the head and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Names of the victims haven't been released as yet.
Police say the deaths appeared to be the result of an isolated incident.
