WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Waterbury Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with the stabbing death of a 14-year-old boy in Waterbury on Wednesday.
Police have charged Jeimy Cintron, 24, of Waterbury, with murder.
Cintron allegedly got into a verbal and physical fight with the teen before police were called to the disturbance on Colonial Avenue around 1:38 p.m. Wednesday.
Cintron's bond is $3-million.
According to the Waterbury Public School System, one of its students was "tragically killed in a senseless act of violence."
A crisis team has been organized for students who are grieving the loss.
The incident remains under investigation.
