
New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - New Haven police are charging a man with making bomb threats.
On Thursday the suspect identified as Tyrell Walton, 32, of New Haven, allegedly called police to say there were devices at headquarters, as well as at the Federal Building on Court Street and the Federal Courthouse on Church Street.
The threats came in around 11:30 Thursday morning and the three locations were evacuated simultaneously.
Subsequent sweeps of each location determined there were no devices.
Walton is being held on $500,000 bond facing threatening and breach of peace charges.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
