
Groton, Conn./WTIC Radio - A man wanted in New Hampshire is under arrest after Groton police say he crashed a stolen vehicle over the weekend.
Early Sunday morning, officers were dispatched to an area on Groton Long Point Road near Esker Point Beach.
A Kia Soul was found overturned and a witness reported a person later identified as Christopher Doleo, 37, fleeing on foot.
Police K9s helped track Doleo to a home on Noble Avenue where the suspect was found hiding under a crawl space, police said.
They say a criminal check found that Doleo was wanted in Salem, New Hampshire on two felonies and a contempt of court misdemeanor.
He was taken to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Doleo is facing a host of charges in Groton, including larceny, interfering, burglary, and breach of peace.
Bond was set at $200,000.
