West Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - State police are investigating after they say a man was killed Monday in a crash on Interstate 84 in West Hartford.
Troopers say around 1:30 a.m., a BMW driven by Tamek Skinner, 30, of New York, was hit from behind by a tractor trailer along eastbound I-84 near exit 44.
Skinner was traveling in the right lane at the time, say police.
A report indicates the vehicles became stuck together in the right shoulder.
Skinner was taken to Hartford Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the rig was not injured.
Anyone with any information or who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact State Police at the Troop H barracks in Hartford.
