Man dead in Ansonia shooting; suspects sought

Ansonia, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Ansonia are investigating a fatal shooting from Friday.

Officers were dispatched to an area of Hodge Street just after 1:30 p.m. after receiving several 911 calls reporting gunshots.

Police say that's where they found a male victim, 30-year-old Abduljalil Humphrey.

He was rushed to Griffin Hospital in Derby where he was later pronounced dead.

Detectives say they're looking for two vehicles, one of which was stolen from the victim after the shooting--a black 2019 Hyundai Elantra with a Connecticut registration BK 30761.

The second stolen vehicle is a red 2018 Chevy Malibu premier with a Connecticut registration of BD 24248.
