Oxford, Conn./WTIC Radio - The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says a man drowned while swimming Thursday afternoon at the Seymour Reservoir #2 in Oxford.
En Con police along with Oxford police and fire and the Region 5 dive team responded.
The man, 21, was recovered by the dive team and was unresponsive.
He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's name has not been released.
The body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for testing.
Officials say Seymour Reservoir 2 is not a designated swim area.
