Middletown, Conn./WTIC Radio - Middletown police have arrested a man in connection with alleged sexual assaults of children dating back more than a decade.
Under arrest is Derrick Gaither, 59, of West Springfield, Massachusetts.
Gaither is currently being held in connection with another arrest in Enfield.
Middletown detectives said they developed probable cause after a "lengthy" investigation that determined the suspect had sexual contact with three minor aged children between 2011 and 2017.
Gaither is facing multiple sexual assault counts, as well as risk of injury and criminal attempt to commit sexual assault.
His bond was set at $3 million.
Middletown police said the investigation is ongoing and want to hear from anyone who may have any additional information.
