
New London, Conn./WTIC Radio - For the second time in two months a New London police officer is facing charges following a domestic violence incident.
Officer Julio Gil-Martinez, 28, was already on administrative leave following his arrest in November.
He was picked up again Thursday night a little after 11 p.m.
This, after a female victim called to report an incident at a residence on Michael Road.
Police say they talked to Gil-Martinez and the alleged victim.
Officers say they then determined that Gil-Martinez had violated a protective order.
In addition, he's charged with disorderly conduct, assault, strangulation, threatening.
Bond was set at $100,000.00.
