Brockton, MA/WTIC Radio - A Norwich woman was shot and killed early Friday morning in Brockton, Massachusetts.
According to a release from the Plymouth County d-a's office, Brockton police received a 911 call just before 12:30 a.m. to 17 Nason Street in that town.
That's where they located the woman in a parked motor vehicle, identified as Stephanie Beatty, 22, of Norwich suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Gelson Fernandes, 29, charging him with homicide.
Investigators say the two were previously acquainted.
That investigation is ongoing.
