Plainville, Conn./WTIC Radio - Two Plainville police officers sustained minor injuries when they were hit by a vehicle fleeing a shopping plaza in town on Sunday.
The officers received a hit on the vehicle whose license plate matched that of a different car.
Officers spotted that silver Honda on New Britain Avenue and tried to make contact with the driver, who then attempted to shut the door and flee the scene.
The policemen were struck by the car door when the driver threw it in reverse.
The suspects, a man and a woman, were last seen headed east on route 72.
