(Norwich, Conn. (WTIC Radio)-Following up on complaints by concerned citizens about drug dealing, Norwich Police have arrested a Taftville man charging him with a variety of drugs and weapons charges, police said.

Police arrested Michael Brevard of North A Street, the area where police said they received complaints about the alleged drug dealing. Brevard was arrested this morning, police  said.

According to Police they retrieved a revolver, ammunition, Cocaine and Fentanyl, prescription medications, drug paraphernalia and more than $10,000 in cash.

Brevard, according to Police, faces charges including possession of Fentanyl, Cocaine, controlled substances, paraphernalia, a revolver, and ammunition.

Brevard's bond is $200,000. He's scheduled to be  arraigned Friday.
