Officers have identified the victim at four-year-old Ellie Kuslis.
Investigators say around 3:20 Saturday afternoon she became entangled within what's known as a slice seeder on the rear of the tractor being operated by her father.
According to police, the tractor was stationary at the time but the seeder remained engaged.
A post mortem exam by the chief medical examiner's office found Ellie died from blunt force trauma and ruled her death as accidental.
Police say the exact circumstances of the accident remain under investigation.
