
New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - New Haven police say a man was wounded Monday night in a shooting in a city neighborhood.
Officers were alerted to a ShotSpotter activation around 5:43 p.m.
They located the victim, a 20-year-old male, in the area of 391 Foxon Boulevard.
He was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Detectives say a nearby restaurant and a passing vehicle were also struck by the gunfire but no other injuries were reported.
Ballistic evidence was secured near the crime scene, police said.
