State Police release Labor Day traffic stats

Middletown, Conn./WTIC Radio - It was a busy Labor Day weekend for Connecticut State Police.

Troopers reported over 4,200 calls for service for the long holiday period between Friday and late Monday.

There were nearly 900 traffic stops logged.

In addition, trooopers made 35 DUI arrests, and investigating 282 crashes, 25 with injury and two serious injuries.

There was one fatality in Middlefield.
