Bozrah, Conn./WTIC Radio - State police are reporting a motor vehicle arrest in which the suspect was clocked traveling over 100 MPH on a Connecticut highway.
Just before 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, a trooper conducting speed enforcement on Route 2 in Bozrah spotted a Range Rover in the left lane.
The trooper clocked the driver's speed in excess of 120 MPH.
Police say the trooper activated their emergency lights and siren to initiate a motor vehicle stop.
The suspect, identified as Louis Dieu, 22, of Norwich, stopped and was subsequently arrested.
Dieu is charged with reckless driving and is free on a $2,500.00 bond.
In recent weeks, state police have been reporting an alarming number of such incidents and cracking down on reckless driving, particularly those caught traveling at dangerous speeds.
Dieu is due in court later this month.
