The employee that made the 911 call said the suspect stated that he had a bomb, according to police.

Enfield police set up a perimeter around the bank with the suspect's description. A short time later, police said officers located an individual fitting the description on foot behind a Shop Rite Supermarket.

Officers detained the suspect and, once a positive identification was made, they placed Anthony Daglio, 40, of Enfield under arrest.

The officers also found a large sum of money on his person, police said.

Police charged Daglio with first-degree Robbery, first-degree Threatening and third-degree Larceny.

Daglio's bond was set at $250,000. He's scheduled to appear at Hartford Superior Court on Thursday.

The responding police officers also searched the bank and found no evidence of any explosive materials, police said. No injuries were reported.
