New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in New Haven are releasing additional details on a Friday homicide.
They say just before 8:00 Friday night, they received a call about a suspicicous death.
Officers later found Naysha Mendez, 35, dead near Evergreen Cemetery.
Detectives say they spent the weekend processing the scene.
An autopsy was performed, at which point the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide.
Police say it's an isolated incident and the public is not in danger.
However, they ask anyone with any information to contact the New Haven Police detective bureau.
