
Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Waterbury police have made an arrest in an apparent threat made toward city schools.
Late Monday night, around 11:30, detectives received information regarding a threatening post on social media referencing several public schools.
A 13-year-old was identified as the one responsible and was arrested.
That person faces charges of threatening and breach of peace.
Waterbury Police Chief Fred Spagnolo said "All threats against our schools are taken extremely seriously, and a thorough investigation is conducted to ensure the safety of students, staff, and the community."
