Waterbury police make arrest in weekend murder

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Waterbury police have made an arrest in a deadly weekend shooting.

Police, Monday night, announced the arrest of Kyshone Jackson, 45, in the shooting Saturday night of Devante Echols, 24, of Waterbury, on Bronson St.

Echols died at a local hospital after he was shot in the head, said police.

Jackson is charged with murder and gun crimes. He was held on $1 million bond pending arraignment.
