Danbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - A wrong way crash early Sunday morning in Danbury left a woman dead and a man with serious injuries.
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of Route 7 just before 2:00 a.m.
According to state police, Danielle Dempsey, 25, of Danbury was traveling southbound near the Exit 7 on ramp when her vehicle was struck by another car traveling in the wrong direction driven by Charles Connors, 33, of Milford.
Dempsey was killed.
Connors is in Danbury Hospital being treated for serious injuries.
State troopers ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who may have dash-cam footage to contact them at the Troop A barracks in Southbury.
