TMZ reports halftime show organizers have been blaring Red Hot Chili Peppers' and Bon Jovi’s music outside the stadium while rehearsals are underway to ensure no one gets a sneak peek of the highly anticipated performance.
As clever as the plan is to keep things under wraps, residents residing in the areas surrounding the stadium don’t seem to be pleased as rehearsals have been creeping into the late night hours.
Sunday’s performance is set to feature Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Eminem.
“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career,” Dr. Dre said in a statement.
“I’m grateful to JAY-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”
We look forward to tuning in and experiencing that big moment for the first time together during Sunday’s big game!
