Tim Doescher from The Heritage Foundation said it is important to frame what recovery looks like since we are in the middle of it right now because of the pandemic.
“True recovery comes from people being permitted to operate their businesses, to go to work, to travel,” he said. “That’s real recovery.”
The term recovery from the left means printing more money and the government borrowing more.
He highlighted they might not like the fact that the administration is focused on rebuilding this economy and it being successful.
Doescher said we need to be bullish in terms of reopening safely and we need to make sure these temporary layoffs do not turn into permanent layoffs.
