Trump signed executive orders for coronavirus relief

National Press Secretary for the Trump Campaign Hogan Gidley said Pelosi is playing politics with people’s lives.

“We know it’s purely political with her,” he said. “The Democrats do this pretty regularly.”

Gidley said these Democratic leaders are anti-Trump through and through. He said this is not a threat to anyone’s social security.

“The president has been very clear that he will not be touching social security or Medicare,” he said.

Economist Stephen Moore said this has been an amazing turnaround with the payroll tax cut.

Moore said in recent weeks he has been concerned about Trump not bringing his A-game, but after Saturday, he has hope restored in the president.

“Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer looked like their heads were going to explode,” he said.

This was a smart, strategic move by Trump. Since Congress would not make a move towards finding a solution for stimulus, Trump stepped up and made an executive order.

Moore said what drives the Democrats crazy is that this payroll tax cut will be going towards the incomes of the middle class. Something Pelosi and Schumer have worked to handle themselves.

He said this would not hurt social security at all.
