Mike Madigan seemed to skirt by without charges in the ComEd bribery scandal.
The Illinois House will begin a legislative inquiry into the House Speaker.
“This is focused on Michael Madigan and the involvement of his benefit from the differed prosecution agreement,” Illinois House Minority Leader Jim Durkin said.
Durkin said he does not agree with the Governor on many things, but he agrees with him on this.
“He agrees with me that this committee is important and Madigan needs to explain himself,” he said.
